Harry Akira Higa, 73, a longtime resident of North Riverside and formerly of Hawaii, died July 29, 2012.
Mr. Higa was born on Jan. 1, 1939 and worked as a project manager at Standard Car & Truck prior to retiring.
He was the husband of Dorothy Higa (nee Hauppa); the father of Shawn, Martha (Pedro) Manzano, Conrad (Beleza) Matthew (Maki), Naomi (Robert) Higa-Mohr and Leonna (Jeffery) Mote; and the grandfather of 12.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Aug. 8 from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 126 Herrick Road, Riverside. Interment is at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
