Amy Elizabeth Lodolce (nee Vuletich), Pharm. D., of Brookfield, died Aug. 31, 2012.

Ms. Lodolce graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Pharmacy and became a clinical professor there.

She was assistant director of the Drug Information group, where she oversaw the residency program. She was also the faculty advisor to Phi Delta Chi, a professional pharmacy fraternity.

Ms. Lodolce was also a Sunday school teacher at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in LaGrange and was an involved parent at Hollywood School in Brookfield, serving at a PTA officer. She touched many lives and was known for her selflessness.

She is survived by her husband, James; her children, Aidan and Preston; her parents, Marc and Dianne; her siblings, Nicholas and David (Julia); and her grandmother, Marilyn Johnson.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 8 at 1 p.m. at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 203 S. Kensington Ave., LaGrange, with a reception following at the church.
