Marie L. Triner, 98, retired from Western Electric

Marie L. Triner (nee Lockner), 98, a longtime resident of North Riverside, died Sept. 21, 2012.

Born Sept. 7, 1914, Ms. Triner retired from her job as an office worker at Western Electric in Cicero. She was also a tireless volunteer at Hines V.A. Hospital for 27 years, logging 7,000 hours of volunteer work there.

Ms. Triner was the wife of the late Edward A. Triner; the mother of Edward “Bud” Triner; the grandmother of Jami (Daniel) Rekstad and the late Grant Triner; the great-grandmother of Cameron and Christopher Rekstad; the sister of Josephine Maslo and Frieda Repple; the aunt of Marilyn Maslo, James (Barb) Kadlec and the late Charlene Walsh; and the mother-in-law of Jama Triner.

Funeral services have been held.
