RB tennis

Led by first-place efforts from No. 1 singles Salem Baer and No. 3 singles Victoria Bojovic, the Lady Bulldogs captured the Leyden Quad title by scoring 13 points, followed by runner-up Willowbrook (11), the host Eagles (10) and Argo (8).

LT soccer

Lyons (12-3-1) remained red hot with a 3-1 West Suburban (Silver) Conference crossover victory against Hinsdale South. Nikola Kaplarevic scored two goals and Colin Smothers added a goal for the Lions.

RB soccer

The Bulldogs won two of three matches last week, improving to 10-5-2 on the season, highlighted by 5-0 record in the Metro Suburban Conference. Since a slow start, RB has won nine of its last 11 matches while being led by strong play from Santiago Beltran, Quentin Dreilich, Ivan Jukic, Caje Chavez, Eddie Marentes, Jake Fiesler, Mason Dorsey and keeper Jimmy Rock.

LT boys golf

Charlie Netzel birdied on three of the first four holes he played en route to medalist honors in the West Suburban (Silver) Conference Tournament. The Michigan State-bound Netzel, who finished as the Class 3A state runner-up in 2011, carded a 3-under-par 67, tying his career-best score over 18 holes in a high school meet to lead the Lions (286) to their second straight conference championship.

RB boys golf

The Bulldogs carded a team score of 355 to finish sixth at the Metro Suburban Conference tournament. Austin Adamec (86) and Luca Melone (87) notched top scores for RB.

LT girls golf

Lyons carded a team score of 340 at the West Suburban (Silver) Conference Tournament. Top performers included Jameson Mitchell (84), Ciara Rattana (84) and Rachael Johnson (85), who finished seventh through ninth respectively on the leaderboard.

RB girls golf

The girls golf team finished second in the Metro Suburban Conference. Gina Minella placed fifth at the conference tournament.

RB girls cross-country

The RB girls cross country team placed fifth at the Lisle Mane Event. The Bulldogs were led by junior Clare Bollnow, who finished 12th overall.

LT girls swimming

The Lions defeated Downers Grove North 103-83 in a West Suburban (Silver) Conference dual meet. LT’s Individual event winners included Elly Vitek (200 free, 1:54.80), Kimmy Vitek (diving, 176.35), Louisa Hoffman (100 free, 54.35), Lauren Rosenberger (500 free, 5:18.48) and Elizabeth Murphy (100 breaststroke, 1:12.57). The LT 200 free relay team of Elly Vitek, Kristen Young, Mackenna Dunn and Hoffman also took first place (1:39.97).
