The Lyons Township football team kept its postseason hopes alive with a 49-21 victory at York on Saturday.
Offensive stars included quarterback Zach Mahoney (11-for-15, 265 yards, 3 TDs), sophomore running back Leonard Ross in his varsity debut (9 carries, 118 yards, 3 TDs) and wide receiver Jemari Burks (3 catches, 143 yards).
Lyons (3-4, 2-3 West Suburban Silver) faces host Proviso West (5-2, 2-2) Friday at 7:30 p.m.
