If approved, a proposed amendment to the Illinois Constitution will allow a minority (40 percent) of members on municipal, school and state boards as well as state legislature to control the passage of select proposals.

If this amendment is approved, we will be relinquishing our belief in the principle of majority rule. Our country was founded on that principle. If this amendment passes, what may be the next amendment that will allow a minority to make decisions for the majority?

Send the message to our legislators. The majority still rules in our country. Vote no to the proposed constitutional amendment.
