The nonpartisan Delegate Assembly of Brookfield-LaGrange School District 102 announced Monday that it was seeking candidates for the 2013 consolidated election in April.

The Delegate Assembly, which comprises citizen representatives from each school within District 102, will interview and endorse candidates in December. District 102 serves all of LaGrange, a portion of LaGrange Park and the southwest quarter of Brookfield.

Congress Park School in Brookfield in located in District 102, and Brookfield currently does not have a representative on the school board. Three of the seven seats on the board are up for election next April.

Applications for interested individuals will be available on the District 102 website (www.dist102.k12.il.us) on Nov. 9 and are to be completed and returned to the Delegate Assembly by Nov. 25.

Interviews will be conducted during a public meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 6:15 p.m. at Park Junior High, 333 N. Park Road, in LaGrange Park.
