John R. Barney, 50, of Brookfield, died Nov. 2, 2012.
Mr. Barney was born Aug. 22, 1962 to Richard W. and Carol Barney (nee Madden). He worked as a newspaper delivery man for a media company.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Barney is survived by his siblings, James Barney, Joan (Michael) Donovan, Jeffrey Barney and Joel (Judy) Barney; and his nieces and nephews, Ryan Bardy, Hailey Donovan, Courtney Barney, Timothy Barney, Brendan Barney, Kylie Barney and Darian Barney.
Funeral services have been held. Interment was at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park.
