John William Ahlgren, 54, of Chicago, died Nov. 28, 2012.
Born Feb. 9, 1958 to Raymond and Hazel (nee Hasskarl) Ahlgren, Mr. Ahlgren worked as a painter in the movie production industry. He was a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees union.
Mr. Ahlgren was preceded in death by his parents and by his wife, Sharon Ahlgren. He is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Ahlgren, Sarah Ahlgren and Martha Bouchard. He was the uncle of six, the great-uncle to three and a friend to many.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. at Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park, 9100 S. Archer Ave., Willow Springs.
