On Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, Riverside Brookfield High School and local law enforcement agencies conducted a 30-45 minute “safety training” drill at the high school.
The Riverside Police Department partnered with school personnel to plan and conduct this important training exercise. Law enforcement agencies from neighboring communities participated, as well.
As a part of our ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and welfare of our staff and students, Riverside Brookfield High School District 208 has a comprehensive school safety plan in place that is regularly reviewed by school administrators and law enforcement authorities. Today’s event is one example of how staff, students, and the police practice and refine our emergency protocols.
Ensuring a safe learning environment is the top priority of the Administration and Board of Education.
