Margaret M. Kuratko (nee Browne), 95, a longtime resident of North Riverside, died Jan. 10, 2013 at Westchester Health and Rehabilitation.
Ms. Kuratko was a former founder and co-owner of the original Kuratko Funeral Home in North Riverside. She was a former member of the St. Mary Altar and Rosary Society, the Fenwick High School Mother’s Club, the North Riverside Bridge Club and the River Forest Country Club.
She was the wife of the late Donald W. Kuratko; the mother of Kenneth D. Kuratko and Dr. Donald F. (Deborah) Kuratko; the grandmother of Brian D. (Lyons Police Department) (Cathy), Kenneth J. (Rena), Kevin J. (Riverside Fire Department) (Shannon), Christina (fiancé Adam Dahms) and Kellie Kuratko; great-grandfather of Madison, Katie, Brian and Dominic Kuratko; and the sister of the late Lucille McShane, the late Patricia (the late Arnold) Moran and the late Patrick J. “Bunny” (the late Rosabelle) Browne.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Jan. 14 at St. Mary Church in Riverside, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
