Lucille R. Toman

Lucille Rose Toman (nee Svboda), 81, of Lyons, died Jan. 10, 2013 at her home.

Ms. Toman was born in Cicero in 1931 to Hattie and John Svboda. She married Willard Toman in 1950 and they couple moved to Lyons.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and sewing. Ms. Toman also loved traveling with her husband, fishing, reading, playing cards and taking care of animals.

Ms. Toman is survived by her husband of 62 years, Willard; her children, Deborah (Sandy) Doreen (Mark) and Jeffrey (Camille); her grandchildren, Lindsey (Cary), Mark, Matthew and Jonathan; and her devoted caregiver, Yevgeniya.

A private memorial will be held for family. Memorial donations are appreciated to the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at donate.aspca.org.
