All area senior citizens are invited to attend the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce’s Fourth Annual Valentine’s Day Senior Social on Sunday, Feb. 10 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the recreation hall in the lower level of Brookfield Village Hall, 8820 Brookfield Ave.
The event, hosted by the Brookfield Aging Well team, will include games, live entertainment by a vocal trio from Riverside-Brookfield High School and food provided by Chefsahoy.
Last year, the event drew about 100 senior citizens, according to Cathy Colgrass Edwards, co-chairwoman of the Brookfield Aging Well team. Admission to the event is free.
In addition to the games and food, Brookfield Chamber of Commerce members have donated prizes that will be raffled off during the event. Attendees will also receive goody bags with items donated by chamber members and Cantata Adult Life Services.
