Marie J. Hosek (nee Horak), 98, of Brookfield, died Feb. 25, 2013.
She was born June 15, 1914 and later married George J. Hosek, who preceded his wife in death. Ms. Hosek worked as a secretary for a manufacturing company prior to retiring.
Ms. Hosek was the mother of Daniel G. (Susan M.) Hosek and Judy A. (Frank J.) Siblik; the grandmother of Timothy M. (Peggy B.) Hosek, Laura K. (Michael J.) Yates, Michael J. Siblik and Megan A. (Steven C.) Hodgden; the great-grandmother of Grace E. Hodgden, Emma E. Yates, Aiden M. Yates, Logan D. Yates, Delaney H. Hodgden and Corey J. Hodgden; the sister of the late James F. (Mary) Horak and Blanche A. Formato; and the aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Feb. 27 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of an 11:30 a.m. service at Hitzeman Funeral Home, 9445 31st St. in Brookfield, followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park.
