Paul A. Reyes, 42, a lifelong resident of Brookfield, died March 1, 2013.
Mr. Reyes grew up in Brookfield, attending Congress Park School and graduating from Park Junior High in 1986. He graduated from Lyons Township High School in 1990 and then attended Northeastern Illinois University, earning his bachelor’s degree in 2008.
For more than 15 years, Mr. Reyes worked as a personal fitness trainer and the Chicago Fitness center and at XSport Fitness in Lyons. He entered and won many body-building competitions, and also enjoyed watching Chicago sports teams, listening to music and being with his daughter.
Mr. Reyes is survived by his daughter, Kylee Brankin-Reyes; his companion, Cheryl Brankin; his parents, Pablo and Mary Reyes; and his sisters, Nancy (Stoney) Snider, Olga (Gary) Shore, H. Marie (Terry) Clapper and Lily (Michael Lally) Reyes-Lally.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9 from 2 p.m. until the time of a 7 p.m. memorial service at Johnson Funeral Home, 3847 Prairie Ave. in Brookfield.
