The Riverside-Brookfield High School board is now entering collective bargaining with the teachers union since the contract is expiring June 2013. Each board member has input and a vote on the final agreement.
The community needs to be aware of the importance of your vote in providing direction that the RB board should take in these negotiations. I have seen how Matt Sinde and Mike Welch offered new leadership and direction four years ago. They both were instrumental in hiring Dr. Skinkis, balancing our budget and maintaining a full spectrum educational program for our children.
If you believe that transparency, living within our means and educational excellence should be the goals of the RB board, then vote for Sinde, Welch and Jepson.
