Give Back to Your Community at The 2nd Annual Day of Service with The LeaderShop!
This Year’s Annual Day of Service Coincides with National Volunteer Week, Global Youth Service Days and Earth Day!
Everyone’s volunteer hours count toward The LeaderShop’s goal of 35,000 service hours for our 35th year this year!
Some of the exciting sites that are planned for Day of Service …
- The Grove of La Grange Park – playing BINGO with the residents and giving them our homemade door decorations – 10 volunteers needed
- Community Nurse Health Association – helping in the Carousel Shop – helping them prepare for Spring! – 5 volunteers needed
- Helping Hand Center – some landscaping and washing windows at one of their residential homes in Highlands. The residents are very exciting we are coming! 10-15 volunteers needed
- Project N.I.C.E. – Brookfield’s beautification day – details on the site are coming soon – 10 – 20 volunteers needed
- La Grange Park District – helping beautify the parks and getting them ready for Spring! – 10 volunteers needed
- Meadowbrook Manor Assisted Living – playing BINGO with the residents, helping them back to their rooms and hanging our homemade decorations for them – 10 volunteers needed
- First National Bank of La Grange – assiting them in their free community shredding day (who doesn’t love some shredding?!) – 5 volunteers needed
