Lyons Township High School’s student newspaper, Lion, accumulated an all-staff and several individual awards at the Northern Illinois Press Association (NSPA) convention in April.

Lion won the “Golden Eagle” trophy, signifying it as Best in Class for high school newspapers in northern Illinois. This is the 17th consecutive year the Lion has won this overall award.
