Teresa A. Alfano (nee Scumaci), 74, of North Riverside, died May 11, 2013.
She was born Sept. 24, 1938 and later married Eugenio “Gino” Alfano, who survives his wife. Ms. Alfano was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking.
She was the mother of Mario (Anna) and Gino (Kathy); the grandmother of Stephen Stone and Kaila, Michael and Nicolas Alfano; the sister of Dominick (Rose) Scumaci, Joe (Heather) Scumaci and the late John (Rose) Scumaci; and the aunt of many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 15 at 10 a.m. at Mater Christi Church, 2431 10th Ave. in North Riverside, followed by entombment in Resurrection Garden Mausoleum at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
