Anna J. Tomcal (nee Belousek), 99, of LaGrange Park and formerly of North Riverside, died May 21, 2013 in Naperville.
Ms. Tomcal was born in Chicago on Sept. 4, 1913. She married Frank J. Tomcal, who preceded his wife in death. She was a homemaker and Avon sales representative. Ms. Tomcal also belonged to the Mater Christi Parish Tabernacle Guild and enjoyed baking, sewing and bowling.
She was the mother of Mary Ann (the late Richard) Konkols; the grandmother of Lori (Timothy) Woodcock and Julie (Adam) Kornak; the great-grandmother of Stephen Woodcock, Matthew Woodcock, Abigail Woodcock, Ryan Kornak, Aidan Kornak and Amanda Kornak; the sister of the late Henry Belousek, the late Marie Mayer and the late Julia Belousek; and the aunt of Bernadette Mayer.
A funeral Mass was celebrated May 25 at Mater Christi Church in North Riverside, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
