Bloomingbank Road will be closed by 1 p.m. on July 3 and remain closed through 3 p.m. on July 4 (Bloomingbank runs on the south side of the train station). Burling Road will temporarily become a 2 way street during this time period.
The Concert in the Park will take place in Guthrie Park from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3. No tents are allowed in Guthrie Park for the Concert.
The Independence Day 5K Run route map is attached here. The streets along the routes will be closed from approximately 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Residents along the 5K Run route will receive a letter with the specifics. The Parade kicks off from Big Ball Park at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, July 4 and the Festival in the Park will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
We appreciate your cooperation in complying with the street closures and ask that you be extra careful of pedestrians next week as we celebrate the 35th Annual Independence Day Activities on July 3 and 4.
