Alonzo Flowers, 11, tries to keep his hula hoop in rotation during the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Brookfield-Riverside on Saturday, July 20. Alonzo, family and friends were on a team based out of Home Depot called Orange Life on a Mission.
Frankie Gomez, 9, tries to entice walkers with lemonade he was selling during the Relay for Life at Jaycee/Elhert Park in Brookfield. In 12 years the event has raised more than million for cancer research.
