Anna H. Kadletc-Volpe, 94, of Cicero, formerly of North Riverside, died on Aug. 15, 2013. Born on April 16, 1919, she was a homemaker and raised her three children in North Riverside where she lived for over 40 years.
Mrs. Kadletc-Volpe was the wife of the late Charles Kadletc Sr. and the late Benjamin Volpe; the mother of Charles Jr. (Susan), the late Marlene (the late John) Hrabovsky, and the late Nancy (Larry) Van Cura; the grandmother of Charlene (Gerald) McCool, Barbara (Michael) Tiffin, Holly (Jeffrey) Winters, Joy (Charles “Marty”) Howard, and Crystal (Kevin) Ford; the great-grandmother of eight; and the sister and aunt of many relatives in Slovakia.
Visitation was held on Aug. 18 at Ivins/Moravecek Funeral Home in Riverside. A funeral Mass was celebrated on Aug. 19 at Mater Christi Church, followed by interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
