Robert Edward “Bob” Harps, 97, of Brookfield, died Aug. 31, 2013 after a short illness.
Born March 24, 1916 in Chicago, Mr. Harps for many years owned Harps Realty in Brookfield at Eight Corners and in Berwyn.
He was the husband of Jane Harps (nee Heinz); the father of Sharon (Steve) Mudjer, Dennis (Ginny) Harps, Christine Laera, Bruce (Rachel) Harps and the late Robert “Matt” Harps Jr.; the grandfather of Jeff (Paulette) Perna, Keith Perna, Stephanie Laera, Robert Laera, Branden Laera, Julia Laera, Brett Laera, Patrick Harps and Brian Harps; and the great-grandfather of Michael Perna, Brandon Perna and Sam Perna.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Sept. 4 at St. Barbara Church in Brookfield.
