Costco is still on target for a November opening, and work feverishly continues at the site, with walls and the roof already up.
But in addition to Costco itself, deals are being worked out to bring tenants to the four outlots along Harlem Avenue, which are owned by Monroe Investment Partners.
The first outlot tenant looks as if it may be Red Robin, the gourmet burger restaurant chain. The Colorado-based chain has nearly 500 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.
The restaurant reportedly would be situated on the outlot immediately south of the new Harlem Avenue entrance to Costco.
In the Chicago area and northwest Indiana there are 18 locations, with a new Red Robin slated to open soon in Norridge in the Harlem Irving Plaza.
