Kellie A. Sullivan, 48, a lifelong resident of Brookfield, died Friday, Nov. 15, 2013 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.

Ms. Sullivan attended St. Louise de Marillac School in LaGrange Park and graduated from Nazareth Academy in 1983. For 14 years she worked as a teacher at Alphabet Learning Center, a daycare/preschool in Brookfield. She cherished and nourished her students, according to family, and doted on her pets, Violet, Memphis and Tyrus.

She is survived by her husband, David A. Plesha, whom Ms. Sullivan married in Nevada in 1991, and her father, James P. Sullivan.

Ms. Sullivan was preceded in death by her mother, Eileen D. Sullivan (nee Chambers), in March 1992.

A funeral Mass was held Nov. 19 at St. Barbara Church in Brookfield, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
