Marion H. Lehuta (nee Lukow), 84, of Brookfield, died Dec. 29, 2013.
Ms. Lehuta was grateful for friendships that grew while sharing life’s journey — swimming at the LaGrange and Pav YMCA pools, playing scrabble in Brookfield or wherever the opportunity presented itself and attending Hinsdale Unitarian Church services. She also enjoyed reading books and periodicals.
She was the mother of Jeanne (the late Philip) Gregorowicz, Jonathan (Kathy) Lehuta and Dennis (Lisa) Lehuta; the grandmother of Krysha, Jonathan Jr., Amy, Sonja, Daniel and Sarah; the great-grandmother of one; and the sister of Kenneth R. Lukow.
Ms. Lehuta was preceded in death by her husband, Casper Lehuta, and her parents, Harry and Gertrude Lukow.
A private memorial service is being planned. Relatives and friends will be notified.
