Several schools have announced they will remain closed on Tuesday, Jan. 28 because of extreme cold forecast for the area.
The following schools will be closed:

St. Joseph High School
St. Mary School in Riverside
All LaGrange-Brookfield District 102 schools
All Brookfield-Lyons District 103 schools
All Brookfield-LaGrange Park District 95 schools
All Riverside District 96 schools
Komarek School in North Riverside
Schools announcing they will be OPEN on Tuesday, Jan. 28:
St. Louise de Marillac School in LaGrange Park
Other institutions:
The Riverside Public Library announced it will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Jan. 28.
The Brookfield Public Library’s website states it will be open on Jan. 28 at 10 a.m.
