Kenneth G. Hologa, 57, of Brookfield, died Jan. 24, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Hologa was a resident of Brookfield since 1981. He worked for 30 years as a machinist for the McMahon Brothers Machine Shop in Cicero, retiring in 2007. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Blackhawks and Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Hologa (nee Sutherland); his daughter, Bree (Jorge) Torres; his grandchildren, Julio Torres, Alex Torres and Danny Torres; his mother, Dolores Hologa; and his brother, Greg Hologa.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Jan. 29 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, 3845-47 Prairie Ave. in Brookfield. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. at St. Barbara Church, 4008 Prairie Ave. in Brookfield, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
