The Riverside Farmers Market wants to thank the residents and visitors to Riverside who made our first Winter Market a success.
We loved bringing the opportunity for our shoppers to keep buying some of their favorite items from the summer market as well as introducing them to several new vendors. The train station turned out to be a great place to drop in during the cold months and pick up something delicious.
The Riverside Farmers Market spring-fall season begins Wednesday, June 4, from 2:30 to 7 p.m. between the Riverside Township Hall and the Riverside Public Library on Burling Road. It continues each Wednesday through Oct. 15.
You’ll see several newcomers joining our quality vendors of produce, meats, baked goods and specialty items. We are continuing our wonderful relationship with the library, which has created a line-up of educational and entertaining programs throughout the summer, including live music every week.
A few highlights of our first market:
New Magnolia Garden Center, with heirloom vegetable garden plants, will be at the June 4 and June 11 markets only.
Dan’s Bike Shop will offer free basic tune-ups.
The Riverside Masons will be offering its child identification kit program, which includes DVDs and fingerprints of your child.
Boston Knife Sharpening will be on hand to get your knives ready for a season of fresh veggie prep.
Be sure to follow the Riverside Farmers Market on Facebook, and check out the library web site and the RFM blog, justeatlocal.wordpress.com, for more information throughout the season. You may also email us directly at email@example.com.
We look forward to seeing you.
