The 36th Annual 5K Run will be Friday, July 4 at 7:30 a.m. The start and finish is just outside of the Historic Water Tower on Longcommon Road. Participants have one hour to complete the course.
For the safety of others:
- No dogs;
- No bikes;
- No skates/blades;
- No strollers.
Register by June 20 to receive the discounted rate of $30.00. The fee beginning June 21 through July 4 at 7 a.m. is $35.00. If you choose to donate $5 to your local VA hospital, you will receive Parks and Recreation Sunglasses.
Runners receive a dri-balance tee with paid registration! You may register online thru July 2 at 5 p.m. or download a form to mail or bring to our office at 10 Pine Avenue.
Our annual Parade takes place at 8:45 a.m. and the annual Festival begins at 10 a.m. There will be booths, music, food and fun for the entire family.
Don’t like to run? Be part of the Race Crew and receive a free t-shirt. It only takes 1 hour of your time to volunteer as a street monitor for this great Riverside tradition! Volunteers must be 18 years or older. Please confirm with the Parks and Rec Department by Friday June 20.
Kick off the Independence Day holiday by joining us at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 3 for the Concert in the Park (in Guthrie Park, across from the train station) where we will have food & drink for sale by local eateries and music by the Brat Pack playing 80’s music and more.
