BNSF Commuters using the Riverside Train Station are advised that the station will be closed to the public until Wednesday, September 3.
The Riverside Train station is owned by the village; however the station is staffed by employees of Metra. Due to a staffing conflict, Metra does not have a ticket agent available to work at the Riverside Metra Station next week, so the station will remain closed to the public until the regular ticket agent returns. This means that commuters will not have access to the bathrooms located inside the train station and will need to purchase tickets on the train. Commuters are urged to please plan accordingly.
