A Brookfield restaurant will host a fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Project on Sunday, Sept. 14 from noon to 4 p.m.
Fuego Cantina owner Pete Calvetti said his goal is to raise $2,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project, a nonprofit organization that provides resources and services for wounded veterans.
Officials and vehicles from the Brookfield police and fire departments will be on hand, as will go-karts and cycles from the Tool Store. There will be a face painter for kids and a split-the-pot and other raffles for adults.
Tickets are $30 and include a buffet and two drink tickets. Calvetti said 50 percent of the ticket price and 100 percent of the raffle and split-the-pot proceeds will go toward the Wounded Warrior Project.
Fuego Cantina is located at 3755 Grand Blvd. in Brookfield.
