Riverside police officers conducted an “intensified traffic enforcement detail” Friday, Sept. 26 from 3 to 11 p.m.

A total of 25 citations were issued for various violations. Sixteen of the 25 citations issued were for speeding and 4 of the 25 were for speeding in a school zone. The department focused on neighborhood complaints or concerns that were received from our residents and business community. The following areas were targeted at the request of emails received from residents.

  • Fairbank
  • Barrypoint
  • Woodside Road
  • School Zones

“The next step will be gathering data, and evaluating to see if an impact was made to make the roads safer,” said Sgt. Leo Kotor.
