(La Grange Park, IL) – The La Grange Park Chamber of Commerce held their 2nd Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday night, honoring Community Nurse Health Center with their 2014 Business of the Year Award.
The Chamber of Commerce received nominations from members, then an internal selection committee voted to select the recipient. The award is given to a person, business, or organization that has made a significant contribution to the economic vitality of La Grange Park through their business practice and involvement in the community.
La Grange Park Chamber President Sheri Sauer commented, “Community Nurse gives back not only to our community in La Grange Park, but our surrounding communities. They are equally involved in so many ways to keep our community healthy and well, which keeps us growing and thriving.”
“This is a huge honor for us. For the Chamber to give a business award to a non-profit organization means a lot,” stated Community Nurse CEO Angela Curran.
The evening also included the installation of new Chamber Board members, dinner and a raffle.
