Hello Former Members of RBHS Bulldog Football,

The Bulldogs are set to take on Aurora Central Catholic Friday, Oct. 17 in the last “regular season” game at Shuey Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:15 pm.

Sadly, the stadium it set to be demolished in the near future due to deteriorating conditions.

On Sunday, Oct 19 at 5:30 pm I will open up the stadium/locker rooms for any members of Bulldog football alumni (coaches, players & staff) that would like to visit the stadium for a final walk through/good bye (*demolition date has not been set yet). Perhaps all attendees can gather for some fellowship at a local establishment shortly after visiting the stadium (details for post stadium visit to follow).

I believe all of us have fond memories of Shuey Stadium. The memories of that stadium came rushing back to me when I returned in the summer of 2012. I hope you can find time to join us for an informal evening of saying goodbye to a place that had a tremendous impact on our lives. Please feel free to forward this message along to any friends and/or family who wore the blue and white on the gridiron.

Yours in Blue & White,

Brendan Curtin
