Ms. Panzetta was a writer and an advocate for peace and human rights who loved connecting with people and their stories.
She was the mother of Christopher James Panzetta, Joseph John Panzetta and the late Maureen Ann Panzetta; the grandmother to Marina and Vincent Panzetta; the daughter of the late Peggy (Moraghan) Bogan and James Bogan; the daughter-in-law of Nancy and John Panzetta; the godmother to Lynn Travnick and Sister Carolyn Rosica, RSM; and a friend to many.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Nov. 1 at St. Mary Church in Riverside, followed by interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Hillside.
Memorial donations are appreciated to Gannon Scholars for a writing award in Judy Bogan Panzetta’s name, Gannon Center for Women’s Leadership, Loyola University.
