Anthony W. Jedovnicky, 81, a longtime resident of Brookfield, died Dec. 6, 2014 at Lexington Manor in LaGrange.
Mr. Jedovnicky served in the U.S. Army from 1952-56 and in 1966 moved to Brookfield. For more than 30 years he worked as an appliance assembler for GE Hotpoint in Cicero, retiring in 1991.
He also enjoyed watching classic movies and TV shows, listening to classic radio programs, repairing radios and traveling to Florida.
Mr. Jedovnicky is survived by his wife, Sheryl L. Jedovnicky (nee Hejny); his sons, Paul Jedovnicky and Michael Jedovnicky; and his brother-in-law, George Hejny. He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Jedovnicky.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec. 10 from 9 a.m. until an 11 a.m. funeral service at Johnson Funeral Home, 3847 Prairie Ave. in Brookfield. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park.
