John Charles Hogan, 60, of North Riverside, died Jan. 13, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Hogan was born Dec. 5, 1954 in Evergreen Park. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and worked as a veterans service officer at Hines V.A. Hospital.
He was the son of Audrey R. and the late Dennis A. Hogan; the father of Mary Hogan, Katy Perkins and John Charles Hogan II; the grandfather of Sarah Denise Hogan, David Joseph Hogan, Savanna Perkins and Toby Perkins; the brother of Debbie (Chris) Mereditis, Laura (George) Hogan-Drucker and Jacqui (Frank) Miceli; and the uncle of many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service with military honors was held Jan. 23 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
