Mary E. Whitney (nee Kaudy), 62, of Brookfield, died Jan. 26, 2015, surrounded by family at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood after a two-month struggles with cancer, surgery, chemotherapy and septic shock.
She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and worked since 1982 as a spiritual counselor at the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood.
Ms. Whitney is survived by her husband, Gary Whitney, and by her father, six siblings, four nieces and three nephews.
