The Brookfield Public Library and Brookfield Conservation Commission will host a guided nature walk through the oak savanna in Kiwanis Park (Arden and Washington avenues) on Saturday, May 9 at 8 a.m.
Dawn Sohr of the Brookfield Zoo will teach participants how to spot birds and wildflowers native to the area. Anyone interested in taking part in the walk, which is free to attend, is asked to gather at the Kiwanis Park pavilion. Binoculars are recommended.
Children are welcome accompanied by an adult.
