Timothy T. Ketchmark, 62, of Davenport, Iowa, and a former longtime resident of Brookfield, died peacefully on Aug. 9, 2015 after a 20-month battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born in Chicago on March 18, 1953, he lived all but the last eight years of his life in Brookfield, where he was actively involved in Brookfield National Little League for 15 years.
Prior to relocating to Iowa, he retired as the controller of Carstens Inc. in Harwood Heights, a job he held for 18 years. Mr. Ketchmark was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and during his retirement, he enjoyed fishing, going to minor league baseball games, and numerous other activities.
Mr. Ketchmark is survived by his wife of 39 years, Cynthia Ketchmark (nee Hole); his children, Tony (Melanie), twins Aedan and Sabrina and Spencer (Milica); his siblings, Rob (Pat) Ketchmark, Dana (Sue) Ketchmark, Kit (Kathy) Ketchmark and Sue (Steve) Huska; his father, Larry Ketchmark; and his many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Ketchmark (nee Vizek).
Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 14, 2015, from 3 p.m. until the time of an 8 p.m. service at Hitzeman Funeral Home, 9445 31st St., Brookfield. Interment is private.
