Riverside Village Forest Michael Collins will present “The State of Our Urban Forest,” a talk about the challenges facing communities in the wake of such threats as the emerald ash borer, Dutch elm disease and the proliferation non-native invasive species in the public landscape.
The talk, sponsored by the Frederick Law Olmsted Society, will be held Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Riverside Public Library, 1 Burling Road in Riverside.
