As some readers may know, the Riverside Landmark expanded its coverage to include Brookfield 18 years ago. As our introduction to the community, we shared free copies of the Landmark for years door to door and then converted to free bulk pick up sites throughout Brookfield.

Brookfield has added to the depth of local coverage, color and has broadened the full community coverage that shares Riverside-Brookfield High School.

Earlier this month, Brookfield was asked to invest, through subscriptions and at newsstands, in their local coverage. With help from Loco, the Brookfield True Value Hardware mascot, we have gained subscribers and many new Brookfield friends who have been overwhelmingly supportive of this endeavor.

We want to continue to bring you the community news, critical focus and one-of-a-kind coverage, but can’t do it without your support.

The circulation office at the Landmark has been flooded with new subscribers, questions, comments and kindness. We are very grateful to our friends and neighbors throughout Brookfield, Lyons and La Grange Park who have chosen to purchase the Landmark because they value community journalism and hometown connections.

We are proud to serve the villages of Riverside, North Riverside, Brookfield because together we build strong communities.
