Edward F. Hroncich

Edward F. Hroncich, 81, of Geneva, formerly of Fripp Island, South Carolina, died on Dec. 17, 2015.  

Born on Dec. 10, 1934, Mr. Hroncich was a U.S. Army veteran who served in occupied Germany. He retired from his job as vice president of Apollo Metals and afterwards worked as a stained-glass artist.  

Mr. Hroncich is survived by his wife of 59 years, Naomi Hroncich (nee Petersen); his children, Susan (Thomas) Dunn, Dr. Mark (Ruth) Hroncich of Brookfield, and Kathy (Timothy) Biernat; his grandchildren, Sarah Newland, Stephen (Heather) Dunn, Benjamin (Kate) Hroncich, Matthew Dunn, Zachary Biernat, Nicholas Biernat and Luke Biernat; and his great-grandchildren, Zoey Newland and Lilly Dunn.  

A funeral Mass was celebrated Dec. 23 at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel, Wheaton Franciscans Sisters, in Wheaton.  Interment was private.
