Ed Pecka spent 92 years on our plane, sharing his love, goodness and time with any and all who shared a need. He served his country, community, church and all people, but most of all his wife and family.
When Ed saw a need, he was the first to address it and help solve it. He was not intimidated and always spoke his mind very clearly to help remedy a situation. Financially, he was overly generous and helped the church and community when they needed it. He spoke the truth and was willing to share his thoughts at all times.
He was tough and gentle, with a subtle sense of humor and always a gentleman. A few months back he confided to me, outside church, that the best parts of his life were his wife and family, and that he’d do it all over again a thousand times over. That says it all.
