The Parks and Recreation Board of the Village of Riverside would like to thank all of the community volunteers past and present that we have had the pleasure of working with across our many activities. Without volunteers, many of our programs simply would not be possible.

We would like to thank the Boy Scouts, who performed work at the Scout Cabin as part of their Eagle Scout projects. Ben Lulich built a beautiful fire pit outside the cabin that will provide years of use. And, William Flaherty performed extensive, needed repairs to the cabin and re-stained the exterior of the cabin.

We would like to thank The Big Chill Crew for their dedication to providing and maintaining a fantastic ice rink for our community to use.

Riverside Little League has also been a wonderful asset to our department and has made many significant improvements to our fields. Thank you to Craig Chapulis for his tireless maintenance of the fields during baseball season and the many parent volunteers who also assist with field maintenance.

Thank you to The Riverside Junior Woman’s Charity for maintaining the beds at Patriots Park, for their help with our Halloween events, and their many donations to our programs.

Finally, we would like to thank all of the many parent coaches who have served in our programs and our community volunteers who have assisted with our Fourth of July 5K races.

Please know that we appreciate your time and assistance. We simply couldn’t do it without you!
