The Brookfield Beautification Commission invites all Brookfield residents to join in during the annual spring community cleanup day known as Project NICE on Saturday, April 23.

Volunteers will fan out across the village during the morning hours to spruce up parks and other public areas. Check in at the Brookfield Village Hall, 8820 Brookfield Ave. between 8:30 and 9 a.m. to choose a clean-up site and obtain tools, trash bags, gloves and a free T-shirt.

From there, you’ll head out to the work site. The clean-up day ends at noon.

To pre-register or if you have questions, you can email to brookfieldbeautification@brookfieldil.gov. More information can be found on the village’s website at www.brookfieldil.gov.
