The Village of Brookfield and A Sound Education host the 11th Annual Battle of the Bands on Sunday, May 15 from noon to 6 p.m. at the band shell on Kiwanis Park, Brookfield and Arden avenues.
Seven bands will compete to win a Song Mixed and Mastered “Radio Ready” package from The Jam Lab ($1,000 value) and the opportunity to move on to the regional and statewide competitions.
Among the bands playing at this year’s battle are Children of the Modern Age, Close the Door, Death Row Baby, Double Identity, Nova, The Millennials and Wingin’ It.
In addition to the music, there will be food and beverages available for purchase, free raffles with lots of prizes, including a Fender electric guitar courtesy of A Sound Education.
