Wanda M. Soehlke (nee Jerz), 84, of North Riverside and formerly of Berwyn and Lyons, died on June 15, 2016.
Ms. Soehlke was born on Sept. 29, 1931 in Chicago. She later married Clifford Soehlke and raised three children. She was a member of the Eagles Club, Moose Club, Parents Without Partners, the North Riverside Golden Agers Club and REACT. She also enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and traveling.
She is survived by her children, Mike (Christina) Soehlke, David (Lora) Soehlke and Sandy (the late David) Howe; her grandchildren, Ashley (Ryan) Nieders, Charlie Kwok, Krysti Kwok, Alayna Kwok, Alyssa Kwok, Danny Kwok, Leo (Elaine) Kwok and James (Nicolle) Brokaw; and her great-granddaughter, Jade Brokaw.
Ms. Soehlke was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; her companion, Fred Wilke; and her sister, Irene (the late John) Sondelski.
Visitation will be on June 28 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home, 2447 Desplaines Ave. in North Riverside, followed by a chapel service at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 29 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park.
